Story time, anyone?
Reading, writing, traveling, gardening, watching hockey, learning astrophysics and cosmology, watching off-beat TV comedies and movies, listening to the widest variety of music imaginable–this odd assortment of interests is what you get when you find me.
My first book, Tales From Shrimps, a children’s picture book, was released December 2010. My twin granddaughters were the inspiration for the Shrimp Family in the book.
I have two novels finished in first draft–a romantic thriller and a love story. This year, I’ll be editing them and aiming for publication before the end of the year.
I currently live in a small town in rural Pennsylvania. I was born and raised in McKeesport, a former steel town southeast of Pittsburgh. A city girl at heart, I have grown quite comfortable living “in the middle of nowhere” as most of my family calls it. But I think that, although it’s nowhere near West Virginia, it is almost heaven.
You can take a look at Tales From Shrimps at www.talesfromshrimps.com. It is available at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com.

Hello Michele. I’m sending you the Kreativ Blogger award because I enjoy reading your blog. I understand that some people are ambivalent about these awards, and that’s okay. I’m a bit ambivalent about them myself. But, if you’d like to participate, check out my blog for the award blurb. And thanks.
Thank you, Jeannette, I’m touched. I went to your blog to see about the award. It may take me a few days to figure out how to do it on here, I’m very tech-illiterate!! I was excited to see that your son is an astrophysics major; in the past several years, I’ve become very interested in astrophysics and cosmology. I watch all the documentaries on tv, and I took an online course from Yale last year. My sons gave me a DVD course taught by my favorite scientist for Christmas. Fun times!
Hey, Michele. I have often wondered what you were doing since I saw you last, on our trip to Toronto.
Hey Lynn, is that you? How have you been? So nice to hear from you!
It IS me. I’m okay still working where I was when you left. Have a sweet little black kitty to share my life…all is well.
